Greenwich, Connecticut (May 21, 2026) The Bailiwick Club marked a major milestone in its ongoing modernization efforts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the unveiling of its new swimming pool and expanded dining patio.

Club members, project partners, and community leaders gathered to commemorate the occasion and recognize the completion of the centerpiece project in a broader multi-year renovation initiative. Among those in attendance were founding member Bruce Warwick, Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo, State Representative Tina Courpas, and other honored guests.

Following the ribbon cutting, children of The Bailiwick Club became the first to jump into the new pool, symbolizing the Club’s enduring commitment to providing a place where generations of families can enjoy swimming, tennis, and community for years to come.

The new pool and enhanced dining area serve as the focal point of an ambitious improvement plan designed to elevate the members’ experience while preserving the Club’s longstanding traditions. Additional projects completed or underway include the addition of competitive-grade pickleball courts, with future plans calling for the refurbishment of the Club’s tennis courts and clubhouse.

The event offered members an exclusive first look at the new facilities and featured remarks from Board President David Fink, Construction Manager Tim Clark, Board Vice President Nicole Sanderson, Senior Vice President at Greenwich Bank & Trust David Moore, and First Selectman Fred Camillo. The celebration concluded with a reception on the Club’s newly constructed dining patio overlooking the pool.

“Our ribbon-cutting ceremony not only marked the completion of our new pool but also celebrated the culmination of more than five years of thoughtful planning and investment in The Bailiwick Club’s future,” said President David Fink. “We are excited to welcome members back for an enhanced summer experience and are deeply grateful to the many partners whose expertise and dedication helped bring this project to life.”

Other speakers highlighted the collaborative effort that made the project possible, including support from the Town of Greenwich, while reflecting on the Club’s rich history, strong sense of community, and the personal connections that helped bring the vision to reality.

The Club partnered with an experienced team of professionals to complete the project, including Tim and Noah Clark of Clark Construction; Mella Kernan of Rogers McCagg Architects; Bill Drakeley of Drakeley Pools; Ceci Brothers; Susan Cohen Landscape Architect; Redniss & Mead Land Surveying; and Michele Cronin of 41° North Land Use Advisors, LLC. Financing support was provided by Greenwich Bank & Trust, a division of CT Community Bank.
