Pickleball at The Bailiwick Club

The Bailiwick Club boasts 4 pickleball courts, available for play from mid-April through the end of October. Courts are available by reservation so you can enjoy a game at your convenience. In addition, the club is excited to announce that more programming for players of all ages and skill levels will be introduced during the 2025 season. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the game or an experienced player seeking to improve your skills, the new offerings will cater to everyone, creating a dynamic and welcoming environment for all pickleball enthusiasts.

Pickleball 101 (Beginner)

Thursday 10:30am-12:00pm

This clinic is perfect for beginner adults looking to learn the fundamentals of this fast-growing sport! This clinic covers essential skills and rules, giving you the confidence to step onto the court and start playing. Whether you're brand new to pickleball or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to learn.

Members: $30 | Non-Members: $35

Pickleball 201 (Intermediate)

Wednesday 10:30am-12:00pm

Perfect for those who have been playing pickleball and looking to refine their skills, this clinic focuses on enhancing your dink, volley, serve, strategy, and point play. It's a great way to build on your foundation and elevate your game!

Meet Our Team

David Papis Elon, Director of Racquets

David Papis Elon is the Director of Racquets at The Bailiwick Club, bringing a strong background in tennis leadership and program development. He previously spent five years at The Field Club of Greenwich overseeing tennis, paddle, and pickleball, and four years at the Ivan Lendl Training Center Grand Slam at Banksville leading junior and adult programs.

Originally from Israel, David was ranked No. 1 nationally in singles and doubles at the 18U level and top 35 in Europe as a junior. He played Division I tennis at the University of Utah and graduated from Yeshiva University, where he was a three-time Skyline Conference Player of the Year and Male Student-Athlete of the Year, finishing with a 37–2 record.

 

A former member of the Israeli Army, David is excited to join the Bailiwick community and is dedicated to building a welcoming and competitive racquets program for all ages and levels.
